Bio
Coyote James is a singer-songwriter who plays fingerstyle acoustic guitar. James has played since he was a boy in every conceivable musical setting imaginable from big band to rock band, church choir to biker bar. All his travels have led him to settle on a solo act. He says, "It simplifies things and makes all my decisions unanimous."
As everyone who plays music does, James has spent a great many hours scavenging other people's music looking to steal what he could and inventing the rest. These days, he plays arrangements of traditional songs and his own compositions, giving 100% of any money to non-profits, such as the Sexual Violence Center.
His hope in writing and performing is to inspire others to express themselves creatively.
